Larry H. Pachter obtained his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1982.  His experience includes:  the representation of institutional lenders in construction and permanent financing transactions relating to real estate developments, as well as complex multistate loan transactions; the representation of developers and other borrowers in construction and permanent loan transactions; the representation of developers in the acquisition, leasing and disposition of real property for commercial, industrial and residential developments; the representation of landlords and tenants in industrial, office and retail leases in single and multi-use transactions; and recently the representation of a developer of multiple restaurants and a nightclub in a major Las Vegas resort hotel. 

Mr. Pachter was selected by his peers as a Leading Illinois Attorney in the area of Commercial Real Estate Law through surveys conducted by the American Research Corporation to identify the State’s most outstanding legal practitioners.  Fewer than 6% of Illinois attorneys received this distinction.

Mr. Pachter graduated with highest distinction from the University of Michigan with a BBA.  He is involved in various community activities, including serving as the past president of the Board of Directors of Solomon Schechter Day Schools, Northbrook, Illinois.  Mr. Pachter previously practiced with Rudnick & Wolfe (predecessor to DLA Piper LLP) in Chicago.
